Welcome to Kutch Nav Nirman Abhiyan

Kutch Nav Nirman Abhiyan, better known as Abhiyan, is a collective of Kutch-based development organizations with a strong local presence. The objective of the network is to synergize human knowledge, physical and financial resources to collaborate towards a Kutch which is governed by community initiatives. The network encourages self- help development, especially within marginalized communities, integrates traditional wisdom with new technologies, and innovates and balances issues of human rights with human responsibilities.

Abhiyan uses an innovative grassroots model to coordinate between NGOs, establish forums for advocacy and policy recommendations to the government and to create platforms for collective implementation. Abhiyan acts as a facilitator between affected communities, donors, NGOs, and the government for the sustainable and meaningful development of Kutch.
